I like these very much, Kathleen. They’re up close and personal; whereas in a lot of your work that I’ve seen usually the place is extremely prominent, the character is most prominent in these. I also very much like the “preciousness” oozing off of the objects the people are holding – in an odd way it actually reminds me a little bit of filmmaker Wes Anderson’s style –

For me, it’s not so much the content that drew the comparison, but the way in which you chose to show the objects themselves, not large and easily identifiable, but small and detailed – “precious” indeed. Great stuff.
